Safe House: Free Legal Help Clinic

AJSOCAL, in partnership with Taco Bell, is offering Safe House, a free legal help clinic focused primarily on eviction and landlord-tenant issues, with additional assistance offered for immigration and domestic violence services. Guests will participate in Housing Protections workshops and meet with attorneys to receive individual legal counseling. 30-minute legal counseling appointments (in English or Asian languages) will take place throughout the afternoon.

When: Saturday, October 21,2023 
Registration: Begins at 12:30 p.m.  Recommend arriving 30 minutes before your workshop/consult to complete required registration.
Where: AJSOCAL’s downtown LA office: 1145 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90017. 
Consultations with attorneys are 30 minutes starting at 1:00 p.m.  The last appointment slot is at 4:00 p.m. 
Event ends at 5:00 p.m.

Housing Protection Workshops schedule
1:00 p.m. in English
1:30 p.m. in Korean 
2:00 p.m. Vietnamese 
2:30 p.m. in Mandarin 
3:00 p.m. in Khmer

Gifts and resources will be provided for all attendees. The first 100 pre-registered guests will receive a $50 digital gift card after receiving services at this event (maximum of one per household).  Services will only be provided upon AJSOCAL’s approval, and AJSOCAL reserves the right to decline to provide services.
