38th Anniversary Fundraising Gala
The gala celebrates Asian Americans Advancing Justice Southern California’s accomplishments throughout the year and highlights its year-round programs and services. Additionally, we honor those who have made a significant impact on the community. The event includes elected officials, community partners, members of the Asian American bar associations and leaders from the arts, culture and media as well as corporate, legal and nonprofit sectors. It has become one of the most anticipated fundraising events in the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities. It is typically held in October in downtown Los Angeles.
In 2020, given the COVID-19 pandemic safer at home orders, Asian Americans Advancing Justice Southern California held a virtual gala, which was viewed by over 10,000! In the midst of ever-changing COVID-19 circumstances, in 2021 we have decided to host a hybrid gala, with a virtual experience accessible by all and an in-person VIP reception for Asian Americans Advancing Justice Southern California’s top sponsors. Both the virtual and in-person galas will be filled with compelling updates about our organization and honorees. We hope that you can join us!
