LA vs Hate Summer of Solidarity First Community Mural Unveiling

June 4, 2023 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Recently, LA vs Hate announced a summer-long celebration of Los Angeles County’s cultural diversity, called LA vs Hate: Summer of Solidarity.

Through partnerships with community-based organizations, LA vs Hate’s festivities will uplift and celebrate cultural moments and traditions – all to showcase that unity is stronger than hate. LA vs Hate is a system that partners with organizations across all five County districts in efforts to end hate. This new campaign of events will utilize culture, dialogue, and connection to address the root issues of hate and division.

This mural was developed in collaboration with ADL and The Jewish Federation, who brought together members of the community to share their metaphors and visions of Jewish culture in Los Angeles. In addition to presenting the Jewish community mural, this cultural celebration will include performances, family-friendly activities, food, and an opportunity for community members to connect with one another.

Please join us in celebrating the first mural unveiling of our Summer of Solidarity program. The inaugural Summer of Solidarity mural-unveiling will be held on Sunday, June 4, at 9320 W. Pico Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90035, beginning at 3:00pm (PT).
