On Thursday, April 11, 2024, AJSOCAL’s Pro Bono Advisory Council (PBAC) organized its 10th annual PBAC fundraiser, its first ever in-person Game Night. The event took place in Century City, courtesy of our venue sponsor, Littler Mendelson P.C. The evening was packed with spirited competition, featuring rounds of trivia, name-that-tune challenges, majority-rules scenarios, and spins on the wheel of ill will. With nearly 100 participants, comprised of individuals dedicated to important work for the AAPI community, the competition was fierce!
Alongside the games provided by Kevin M. Horton from Next Contestant Games, attendees had the chance to mingle and connect before the games, interacting with members of our Pro Bono Advisory Council and other esteemed guests. It was a fantastic opportunity to engage with the sponsors who supported our event and the dedicated volunteers whose efforts enable us to offer essential legal services to our community, empowering them to flourish.
At the event, AJSOCAL took some time to recognize this year’s Champion Volunteers:
- Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP
- Dinh Luu
- Jean Shen
